Ductless Air Conditioner Benefits
Because ductless mini-split ACs don’t require ducts, they’re easy to install. A conduit containing electrical wiring, refrigerant, and condensate tubing connects an indoor air handler to an outdoor compressor through a small hole in a wall.
Depending on the model, we would mount the indoor cassettes on a wall, ceiling, or floor. Some systems can connect as many as eight air handlers to a single compressor. Each has a remote control that sets the temperature, fans, and direction of airflow.
There are many benefits to investing in a ductless air conditioner.
- Energy efficiency
- Ease of installation
- Improved indoor air quality
- Quiet operation
- Precision comfort for each room or zone
The Environmental Protection Agency estimates that a ducted system loses approximately 25% of the conditioned air through ducts. In contrast, mini-split systems achieve better energy efficiency because conditioned air blows directly into the living space.
Each zone has its own controls, allowing individual temperature settings for each zone, such as keeping the living room cooler than the bedroom. In addition, you can turn off individual air handlers when not in use without affecting comfort in other spaces.
Whether you need a new air conditioner, repair services, or maintenance, we do it all. Seasonal maintenance is an inexpensive way to keep your system in tip-top shape. HVAC manufacturers often require maintenance to keep warranties valid.
It allows technicians to adjust settings to keep you comfortable and ensures the system operates efficiently. Maintenance also helps lower energy consumption, which saves you money on utility bills. Our goal is to keep your HVAC system performing well and maintain comfort.
Regardless of how well you maintain your system, sometimes, problems occur. If your ductless air conditioner or heat pump is not performing well, we offer scheduled repairs to diagnose the issue. Because serious problems can happen at any time, we’re available 24/7 for emergency repair services.
